Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Electrical Engineer with a strong passion for innovation. This part-time role offers the potential to transition to a full-time position as the company grows and upon successful completion of the probationary period. The successful candidate will:

● be a self-starter who loves learning;

● work closely with a small team with minimal supervision;

● be required to manage tasks effectively and provide weekly progress reports;

● be able to collaborate well with other subject matter experts in mechanical and mechatronics engineering.

Key Responsibilities

● Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software solutions.

● Conduct feasibility studies and analyse project requirements.

● Develop algorithms for signal processing and control systems.

● Perform simulations and modelling of electrical systems.

● Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in existing systems.

● Document designs, processes, and testing results for compliance and future reference.

Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science.

● Strong understanding of electrical circuits, systems, and principles.

● Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB, C, C++, Python.

● Experience with CAD software and simulation tools.

● Familiarity with microcontrollers and embedded systems design.

● Experience with PCB design.

● Knowledge of digital and analogue signal processing techniques.

● Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

● Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills

● Experience building electronic circuits from scratch.

● Experience in machine learning or artificial intelligence applications.

● Knowledge of IoT (Internet of Things) technologies and protocols.

● Familiarity with software development methodologies.

● Diving experience or the willingness to learn.

● Confidence in speaking in front of groups of people
