About the role
Your role centers on supporting people with disability to live meaningful lives and actively drive their own decisions and goals. This Group Home service operates 24x7 - morning, day, evening and awake night shifts - it will depend of what you are looking for and the flexibility you need. You will need to be available for 3-4 days, 20 hours minimum (however we have some casual who work up to 40 hours a week). Our Northern Beaches group homes are based in Allambie Heights, Eleanora Heights, Forestville, Cromer, Narraweena, Dee Why, Belrose and surrounding areas.
- Delivering personalised support in a group home setting
- Assisting clients at mealtimes, personal care, administrating medication and manual handling using a variety equipment and aids.
- Supporting clients to engage and participate in their community
- Supporting clients to make their own choices and build skills to be more independent
- Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress.
- Supporting clients with transport e.g. using CPA minivan

Requirements
- Available for a minimum of 3 days a week, 20 hours (this is a minimum requirement - there are 30+ hours available if you wish)
- A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum)
- Live locally to the Northern Beaches.
