About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Remedial Massage Therapist to join our team at InSync Chiropractic and Healthcare in East Fremantle, WA. As a part-time Remedial Massage Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality therapeutic massage treatments to our diverse clientele, helping them achieve their health and wellness goals.

What you'll be doing

Conducting thorough client consultations to understand their specific needs and concerns

Developing and implementing customised remedial massage treatment plans to address clients' musculoskeletal issues

Utilising a range of remedial massage techniques, such as trigger point therapy, myofascial release, and deep tissue massage, to alleviate pain and improve mobility

Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed

Maintaining detailed client records and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

Contributing to the overall success and growth of the clinic by providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with clients

What we're looking for

A diploma or degree in Remedial Massage Therapy or an equivalent qualification - REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE

Minimum 1 years of experience as a Remedial Massage Therapist, preferably in a clinical or healthcare setting

Excellent knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pathologies, and the ability to apply this knowledge to develop effective treatment plans

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise with clients and provide a personalised, holistic approach to their care

A commitment to continuous learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices in remedial massage therapy

Registration with the Australian Association of Massage Therapists (AAMT) or a similar professional body

Provider numbers or eligibility for all major health funds

ABN and insurance (if applying for contractor position)

Additional skills like cupping or myofascial release are a plus
