The Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Remedial Massage Therapist to join our team at MBS Remedial Massage Sydney. As a Remedial Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, personalised massage therapy services to our clients, with the aim of relieving pain, improving mobility, and enhancing overall wellbeing. This is a permanent full or part-time position based in our clinic at Martin Place in Sydney CBD, NSW.

Key responsibilities

Conduct thorough client assessments to identify areas of concern and develop tailored treatment plans

Perform a range of remedial massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release

Educate clients on the benefits of remedial massage and provide advice on lifestyle and self-care practices to support their ongoing health and wellness

Maintain detailed client records and ensure the smooth running of the clinic by adhering to all policies and procedures

Actively participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and industry best practices

What we're looking for

Diploma or Degree in Remedial Massage Therapy or equivalent.

Minimum 1 years of experience as a Remedial Massage Therapist, preferably in a clinical setting

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively educate and support clients

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to develop personalised treatment plans

Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for holistic health and wellness

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the overall success of the clinic

Qualifications in Physiotherapy, Chiropractic or Osteotherapy are also welcome to apply.

This position in not a short term role, we are looking for a minimum of 6-12 months ongoing (no short term employment) due to the interpersonal professional Client/Therapist relationship that is established in this health care role.
