The Role
As the APS 6 Computer Aided Maintenance Management (CAMM2) Electronic Maintenance Requirements Determination (MRD) Team Leader, you will be delivering engineering and airworthiness enabling services and advice to the Fleet Air Arm in relation to aircraft maintenance optimisation programs. Providing support analysis inclusive of maintenance, spares and engineering review and optimisation, and manage the Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) Record.
The suitable candidate requires the a level of technical experience and aptitude at the APS 6 level to obtain and maintain Engineering Authority relevant to the MH-60R Platform as per Defence Aviation Safety Regulation (DASR) and Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) Engineering Authority policy requirements.
About our Team
Navy Aviation System Program Office (NASPO), within Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group, is responsible for supporting current Navy Aviation capabilities while developing and supporting new technologies into the future.
Technical Engineering Services & Support Unit (TESSU) is a specialised aviation engineering team embedded within NASPO who are responsible for providing core-engineering design and engineering support services for NASPO managed Aviation platforms.
TESSU comes under direct management of the NASPO Chief Engineer and provides the central engineering resources for NASPO to provide Defence Aviation Safety Authority (DASA) authorised Rotary Wing Design Organisation services (Part 21J) to the Navy Fleet Air Arm.

- You will hold qualifications in aircraft maintenance from a recognised institution, and/or equivalent relevant experience (preferably within the Defence industry).
