Deakin Dental Care is looking for a Full-Time Associate Dentist to join our professional, dedicated team.

Located in the affluent South Canberra suburb of Deakin, we are a general dental practice offering all facets of general dentistry, including implants, surgical extractions, root canal therapy, crowns, smile makeovers and treatment under IV sedation for nervous patients. The practice was established in 2022 with a new, modern fit out and state of the art facilities.

What we can offer you:

4 days a week Tuesday - Friday, with the potential to pick up a Monday and/or Saturday in the future.

Access to support and mentorship from two highly reputable, experienced, sought after dentists in our Principal and Senior Associate Dentist who have a combined experience of over 50 years in general dentistry.

An established patient base, both from a retiring dentist and new patients to the practice, also with the scope to grow your own patient base.

Use of a digital scanner making taking impressions a breeze.

Use of an onsite OPG and CBCT.

Scope to grow and advance your skills.

Commission based role.

Privately owned practice that treats and wants our staff and clinicians to be like a family.

What we are looking for:

Ideally at least two years of general dental experience.

Hold relevant qualifications, insurance and registrations (AHPRA) to allow you to work as a Dentist in Australia.

Able to hit the ground running. We are a busy, thriving practice and we need you to be able to jump in and see patients from the get go - you need to want to work as we have the patients and work waiting for you.

Confident and capable of independently diagnosing and delivering treatment.

Work well within a team environment - we have a close knit team that work well together, you need to fit into this team and be able to work with all staff.

Ability to create and sell treatment plans.

Ability and want to grow and establish your own patient base, we have patients available to fill days but we need you to be able to retain and grow this patient base.

Be an exceptional communicator and build a rapport with patients - we want our patients to want to come back and see us, we need you to be able to be an extension of the patient centric focus we have created from the start.
