About the Position

The City of Bayswater is seeking extremely motivated casual Gym Instructors to support, educate, encourage, and motivate customers to achieve positive health and wellbeing goals in a safe environment and increase awareness of programs and facilities.

You will also be able to complete the following;

• Deliver high quality Health & Fitness programming that maximises customer satisfaction and safety.
• Provide a high level of customer service consistent with the City's Customer Service Charter.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Complete relevant administration tasks with a high level of accuracy, efficiency and service.
• Maintain safe, hygienic, well presented and readily accessible facilities.
• Respond to incidents and emergency situations within site procedures, training and capacity.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality in processing financial transactions.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant promotional activities.
• Responsible for the operations and safe delivery of services relating to the Health Club meeting key
• performance requirements as detailed in service plans.
• Exercise duty of care and work in a safe and efficient manner, having regard for your own safety and that of other workers and the general public.
• Effectively supervise all patrons, contractors and visitors within the Health Club
• Work effectively in a team environment and assist others to achieve service unit goals.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes and operations.

This position will be on a casual basis and part of a recruitment pool.

About You

You will hold current Provide First Aid and Resuscitation certificate as well as a Certificate III in Health & Fitness

Certificate IV in Health & Fitness, Fitness Australia Registration and Group Fitness Qualifications are highly desirable.
