CO.AS.IT is seeking a dedicated Rostering Coordinator to join our team within the Home Support Services Program (Aged Care).

Role Overview:
As a Rostering Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive exceptional care by managing staff and client schedules effectively in accordance with current regulations. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining rosters, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, and facilitating effective communication between clients, families, support staff, and care managers. Your role is pivotal in maintaining the continuity and quality of care provided to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and manage staff and client rosters to ensure the provision of essential services.
Liaise with clients, representatives, and care managers to understand client needs and service specifications.
Respond promptly to queries from care managers and support workers regarding available services.
Organise rosters to ensure ample coverage of staff while on leave.
Maintain regular contact and effective communication with support workers regarding their schedules and changes.
Provide administrative support related to rostering and staff scheduling.
Escalate concerns and feedback to the team leader to ensure staff health and safety.
Maintain current knowledge of the aged care industry and best practices.
Attend mandatory training sessions to develop your knowledge.
Uphold and remain educated on organisational policies and procedures.
To best support our service team, we are looking for someone with:
Previous experience as a Rostering Coordinator, preferably in an aged care or health setting, is essential.
Experience with rostering management platforms such as Lookout, Shiftcare, or Procurement.
Advanced customer service and problem-solving skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
Excellent attention to detail and a positive approach to challenges.
