Lifestyle Coordinator – Aged Care | Leadership Role | Gold Coast

HillView Care is a boutique residential aged care provider with homes in Ashmore and Merrimac, offering low, high, and dementia-specific care. As we continue to grow and reimagine aged care on the Gold Coast, we’re seeking a dynamic and compassionate Lifestyle Coordinator to lead our Leisure and Lifestyle team across both sites.
Reporting to the Marketing and Lifestyle Manager, you’ll bring leadership, creativity, and collaboration to the role - designing and delivering engaging programs that enrich resident wellbeing and strengthen community and family connections. You’ll oversee the planning and coordination of activities at both locations, working closely with your team to create meaningful experiences for our residents.

About the role:
As our Lifestyle Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of resident engagement - designing and delivering a vibrant program that nurtures wellbeing, creativity, and connection. You’ll lead an enthusiastic team, collaborate closely with our marketing team to share our story, and foster strong ties with families, volunteers, and the wider community through engaging events and a thriving volunteer program.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and inspire the lifestyle team to deliver engaging and meaningful activities
Develop & coordinate resident-focused wellness and lifestyle programs
Implement resident care plans
Work collaboratively with the marketing team to promote events, share resident stories, and strengthen community visibility
Build strong relationships with residents, families, and local community groups
Develop and manage a vibrant volunteer program to enhance resident engagement
Ensure programs support physical, emotional, and social wellbeing for all residents
Coordinate special events, cultural celebrations, and outings
What you’ll bring:
Previous experience in a Lifestyle Coordinator role
An understanding of the Australian Quality Standards in Aged Care
A minimum Cert IV in Leisure & Health - CHC43415 (a Diploma in Leisure & Health - CHC53415 would be highly regarded)
A Cert III Individual Support will be favourably considered
Strong leadership and team management skills
Experience in events and/or community engagement highly regarded
Collaborative mindset and the ability to work cross-functionally
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
Creative, organised, and passionate about enhancing quality of life for older people
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with a proven ability to quickly learn new programs
Experience managing volunteers is preferred
A current First Aid & CPR certificate
