Opportunity for a Qualified Commercial Plumber to Transition into an Office-Based Role

Key Responsibilities:
As the Technical Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting both the operations and client management aspects of the business. Your duties will include:

• Scheduling Assistance: Help with the scheduling of jobs and ensure timely completion.
• Technical Support: Provide support to plumbers and clients when needed, offering expert advice and solutions.
• Parts Ordering: Handle parts ordering for preventative maintenance (PM) jobs at the beginning of each month, and for other jobs as required.
• Parts Receiving: Oversee the receiving and management of parts for jobs.
• Job Status Updates: Regularly update job statuses and refer them for scheduling.
• Warehouse Management: Maintain an organised and efficient warehouse, ensuring parts are easily accessible.
• Job Review: Review job statuses on a weekly basis and take necessary action.
• Minor Quotes: Complete minor quotes for internal review.
• Parts Sourcing: Source and price parts as needed for jobs.

The ideal candidate:
To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A commercial plumbing background and a strong technical background.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both with clients and internal teams.
• Previous experience with parts ordering and job scheduling.
• An ability to review and manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in office-based software
