As an Accountant, you will work closely with the Financial Controller and Managing Director for Australia, to carryout month end reporting and vital costing for several ongoing and new projects.

Description

As an Accountant, you will report to the Financial Controller and support with all financial reporting matters across Australia. You will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely reporting day-to-day an across several high profile projects ongoing within the business. As an Accountant you will be responsible for:

• Oversee financial reporting for Australian entity
• Carry-out detailed financial analysis for projects across the business
• Assist with external auditors
• Accounts payable and supplier management
• Accounts receivable, invoicing and customer management
• Banking payments and bank reconciliations
• Month-end close and reporting
• Bookkeeping and ledger maintenance, as needed
• BAS/IAS preparation and lodgement

Profile

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role and be confident working across several entities.

• 3+ years' experience in a end-to-end accounting role
• Cantonese or Mandarin speaking is essential
• Completed, or nearing completion of CA/CPA
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive and strong commercial acumen
• Team player
