About the role
LPE GROUP PTY LTD is seeking a Storeperson to join our team based in Green Fields, SA. This full-time role involves taking charge of all warehouse operations, including the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods. As the sole person in the warehouse, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day tasks independently and ensuring smooth operations. We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, proactive, and can take ownership of the role while collaborating effectively with other team members. The role is within a manageable environment, allowing you to work independently while still being part of a supportive and cohesive team.

What you’ll be doing

Receive and unload incoming stock deliveries, ensuring accurate documentation and efficient processing

Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders accurately and on time

Maintain stock levels and rotation, including conducting regular stock takes

Operate our computer-based stock control system (training provided)

Safely use materials handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and trolleys

Assist with general warehouse duties, including cleaning and organisation

Take responsibility for the entire warehouse operation, ensuring efficiency and orderliness

Collaborate with other teams to meet customer needs and ensure smooth workflow

During quieter periods, assist with the assembly of products and help the production team as needed

Adhere to all health, safety, and quality procedures to maintain a safe working environment

What we’re looking for

Previous experience as a Storeperson or in a similar warehousing role

Forklift licence and experience operating materials handling equipment

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative

A team player who works well with others and values collaboration

Ability to assist with product assembly and support production during quieter times

Commitment to workplace health and safety

Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic
