The Warehouse Storeperson is responsible for managing inventory, organising goods, and ensuring efficient stock handling within the Priestley's Gourmet Delights warehouse. Duties include managing inventory, receiving and inspecting deliveries, storing items in the correct locations, picking and packing orders for our FMCG production, and maintaining accurate stock records. You will also assist with shipping and dispatching of goods and supporting the overall logistical flow within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage inventory shelf life and storage temperature requirements to mitigate exposure to spoilage and loss.

Daily reconciliation of finished goods stock balances.

Investigation of all variances and provide reasons and solutions.

Reporting of obsolete and/or short coded stock.

Ensure goods are receipted in full against purchase orders.

Ensure goods meet all quality specifications.

Ensure all goods are stored in accordance with specifications and in a timely manner.

Maintain inwards goods “check sheet”.

Qualifications:

Have high energy levels and have pride in your work.

Have the ability to manage your own time and plan ahead.

Have a current forklift licence - with at least minimum 2 years driving experience Bendy or Aisle-Master preferred.

Be able to work in ambient, chilled, and frozen storage environments.

Have good communication and numeracy skill.

Be reliable and have an excellent work ethic.

Drive a safety-first culture.
