We provide highly focussed, strategically planned litigation in Challenging a Will and other estate litigation.

We are seeking some-one wishing to specialise in the higher level of litigation, focussed on wills and estates, working from our Melbourne head office or inner south suburbs.

The Principal of CWPL, Terry Johansson, is a well-known Wills and Estates specialist, separately accredited in both Victoria and New South Wales. He is well known for his litigation work, in Australia and internationally, originally from a commercial and tax background. Google him and see.

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role you will have a combination of the following skills:

· 3 to 5 years experience in litigation;

· competent in wills/estates litigation or other comparable areas e.g. family law;

· be proactive and innovative in Your approach, and able to think out of the box;

· be able to work as part of a team and as team leader, plus operate independently;

· be self-motivated, time focussed, and skilled in working with electronic files; and

· aim to deliver top, personalised service, to achieve the best results.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

use Your high-level communication and interpersonal skills;

build rapport with clients, engender trust and commitment;

planning Your litigation work and strategy for maximum impact and greatest success;

running your own files with support from Terry Johansson, and other team members;

assisting Terry Johansson & working on key files as required;

directing and overseeing work of team members;

supervising/conducting files in other States, from Melbourne, as regularly required;

court appearances, mainly at County and Supreme Court levels, and equivalents;

managing and attending mediations, in person and by video link;

working with our barristers in court appearances and mediations; and

utilising your time management skills, meeting deadlines.
