Approach Consulting have partnered with one of Canberra's longest standing law firms to find an experienced Wills & Estates lawyer to help lead its burgeoning practice. The firm has an impressive pipeline of work, with close to 40 new wills being brought in per month.

This is a unique opportunity for a senior practitioner to bring their strategic insight, commercial acumen, and technical excellence to a firm renowned for its genuine, client-first approach.

About the role.

As a senior practitioner, you will:

• Lead matters involving Wills (including testamentary trusts), Enduring Powers of Attorney (EPA's) and Appointment of Enduring Guardians (AEGs)
• Provide strategic advice on estate and asset structuring to a sophisticated client base including high-net worth individuals, families, and business owners
• Maintain compliance with relevant legislation
• Mentor and develop junior lawyers and associates
• Play a key role in practice development, client relationships, and business growth

About you.

We are looking for highly skilled solicitor with a strong background in Wills & Estates. Ideally:

• 5 to 10+ years PQE in Wills & Estates law
• Expertise in succession law, estate structuring and trust planning
• Excellent drafting skills and high attention to detail
• Exceptional client relationship and communication skills with proven ability to network
• A natural mentor and team leader with a collaborative style
