About the Role:

The Marketing Assistant is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day marketing activities for the marketing department. The role will also assist the National Marketing Manager with all hotel activities and working with internal and external stakeholders. This position is fully on-site, office-based, with a Monday to Friday schedule. Please note, there are no work-from-home or hybrid options available.

Key Responsibilities:

To coordinate and oversee campaigns geared at promoting products, services, and causes

Create, manage and distribute marketing collateral including promotional brochures, campaign elements and hotel/brand collateral

Support National Marketing Manager with brand campaigns and other activities

Collate and distribute all marketing collateral to all hotels

Monitor and respond to all marketing general inquiries

Assist in social media monitoring and photo shoots

Support the Marketing team with any administrative requests, including marketing calendar management, promotional and marketing collateral stock control, deliveries and dispatch

Ensure brand standards and consistency is met throughout all hotel properties

Work closely with various departments and Hotel Managers to deliver on requests

Manage marketing invoices and POs to accounts department

Monitor / track all items within the VIP program

Monitoring competitor activities to ensure MS brand remains competitive

Liaising with external suppliers, designers and agencies

Ensure marketing activities are carried out effectively and on schedule

To be successful in this role:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a marketing role, preferably in the hospitality industry

Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Proficiency in all technical based marketing requirements

Project/campaign management experience including proven ability to deliver on time

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
