About the role

Enerflow Mining Services is seeking an experienced Underground Fitter to join our team on a contract basis in Perth, Western Australia. As an Underground Fitter, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing the heavy machinery and equipment used in our mining operations. This is a hands-on, field-based role that requires a strong technical skillset and a commitment to ensuring the safe and efficient functioning of our underground mining assets.

What you'll be doing

Conducting regular inspections and maintenance on a variety of underground mining equipment including excavators, haul trucks, and other mobile plant

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on mining equipment

Performing scheduled servicing and overhauls to company and manufacturer standards

Identifying and rectifying potential issues before they cause downtime or safety concerns

Collaborating with the wider maintenance team to ensure a coordinated and proactive approach to equipment care

Maintaining detailed records of all work undertaken and parts consumed

Adhering strictly to all relevant health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Formal trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or Heavy Diesel Fitting

Proven experience as an Underground Fitter or Heavy Diesel Mechanic in a mining environment

Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Strong working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics

Commitment to safety and a demonstrated track record of safe work practices

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including nights and weekends as required

What we offer

Hourly rates ranging from $80-90ph depending on experience

7/7 or 2/2 rosters

Permanent, on-going contract and contract to perm options
