ProBuild Australia, established in 2005 has an outstanding reputation in the insurance property repair industry, specialising in domestic and commercial repairs we work alongside many of Australia’s largest Insurers. Due to sustained growth, ProBuild Australia is seeking experienced Insurance Building Estimator to join our customer-focused, enthusiastic, self-motivated and dedicated team in the Melbourne area and surrounds.

About the role:

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for assessing property damage, and preparing repair quotations, In doing so, you will work closely with our administration team, together with industry professionals and a variety of trades. The Position will be based on a 38-hour week with the successful candidates to gain permanent employment after completion of a 6-month probation period.

Responsibilities:

Conduct property assessments.

Write reports, and create detailed scope of work and quotes.

Maintain strong relationships with insurance companies and clients, ensuring high standards of customer service.

Oversee daily operations and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Ensure Health and Safety requirements are met onsite during the preconstruction stages

Coordinate with internal Case Managers to deliver comprehensive information and ensure repair processes are met

Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience in an Estimating role within the insurance building industry.

Strong understanding of insurance repair procedures and project management is essential.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Capability to handle multiple projects at once while adhering to deadlines.

Skilled in report writing and creating scopes of work.

Valid driver’s license.

Professionally presented and empathetic, with the ability to effectively interact with homeowners experiencing challenges due to property damage.

Experience with Prime Ecosystems is desirable but not essential
