Interventional Radiology Australia, a specialist medical practice with clinics across Sydney, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Billing Officer to join our team in St Leonards. This is a part-time opportunity working Monday to Friday, mornings only, with the potential to move into a full-time role in the future.

We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, a commitment to learning, and a willingness to take on responsibility in a stable and supportive environment.

Your Responsibilities

Manage patient billing across health funds, Medicare, DVA, Workers Compensation and private patients.

Investigate and resolve billing disputes professionally and efficiently.

Chase outstanding payments from patients, hospitals, and health funds.

Ensure billing accuracy by adhering to quality and documentation standards.

Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Complete ad hoc duties as directed by the Accounts Manager.

Embrace a sharp learning curve with on-the-job training and support.

About You

Accounting knowledge (new graduates welcome)

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Loyal, responsible, and willing to learn and grow

High level of computer literacy

Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines

Previous experience in billing, Medicare, DVA, or health funds (desirable but not essential)
