About the role

Looking to join a dynamic and passionate team in a fast-paced retail environment? Bakehouse on Cranford' is seeking talented Retail Assistants to join our growing business in Mount Pleasant WA 6153. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and supporting the smooth running of our bustling bakery and cafe.

What you'll be doing

Delivering friendly and knowledgeable customer service, assisting customers with purchases and inquiries

Operating the cash register, processing payments, and maintaining accurate cash handling

Restocking and merchandising products to ensure the store looks attractive and inviting

Ensuring all food preparation, storage, and cleaning tasks are completed to the highest standards

Providing support to the wider team as needed to contribute to the overall success of the business

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer-facing retail or hospitality role, preferably in the food and beverage industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide friendly and helpful service

Good numeracy skills and attention to detail for accurate cash handling and inventory management

Enthusiasm for food and a passion for providing an exceptional customer experience

Willingness to learn, adapt and take on additional responsibilities as required

Food safety and handling certification (or willingness to obtain)
