Job Title: Assistant Manager - Jack & Co
Location: Sydney Northshore Locations - Northwood, Lane Cove or Pymble
Hours: Between 5am - 10pm (40 hours per week)
Days: 5 days a week, including some weekend and evening work
Salary: $60,000-$75,000

Jack & Co's mission is to be the world's freshest convenience store. We are on the hunt for a couple of experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to work across our Sydney Northshore locations- Lane Cove, Northwood and Pymble.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Assistant Manager to oversee the high tempo daily operations of our stores. As a Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing a high-performing team, maintaining quality control, and ensuring seamless store operations. These are busy stores with over 1200 transactions per day.

Responsibilities:

Hire, train, and manage up to 40 staff

Ensure high-quality coffee and food production

Manage stock levels and ordering

Create rosters and work to a labour budget

Maintain store cleanliness and regulatory compliance

Set up and production of breakfast lines, in store sandwiches, and hot bakery lines

Open store and lead team on duty

Report equipment issues and maintain company principles

Requirements:

Motivation to take ownership of the position

Attention to detail and ability to multitask

Desire to build and maintain a high-performing team

Customer-centric approach

Willingness to assist in other store areas as needed

Food safety certificate preferred but not essential
