With decades of successful project delivery across sectors such as Commercial, Student Accommodation, Aged Care, and Residential, the company is now looking for a Project Manager to work in the Defence sector. They offer long-term stability and the chance to be part of a growing area of strategic national importance.

The Role
As the Project Manager, you will lead the full lifecycle of this major project, from early design development and stakeholder engagement through to construction execution and final handover. You’ll be working closely with the client, consultants, and delivery teams to ensure the successful practical completion of projects across Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead early design and planning stages of project $150M+ project in close coordination with consultants, architects, and Defence stakeholders
• Oversee procurement, risk management, scheduling, and construction execution
• Ensure compliance with all defense and security protocols
• Manage multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and internal project staff
• Maintain strong client relationships and lead regular reporting on progress, risk, and cost

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale construction projects ($50M+) from design through delivery
• Background in high-security, defense, or government infrastructure projects highly regarded
• Strong understanding of Tier 1/2/3 construction practices and contract administration
• Exceptional stakeholder management and team leadership skills
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or similar
