Responsibilities:

Provide expert legal advice and guidance on Australian immigration law, regulations, and policy.

Handle all aspects of immigration matters from initial consultations to visa lodgements and appeals.

Prepare and review visa applications, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Represent clients in administrative tribunals and courts for immigration-related appeals and hearings.

Conduct legal research to stay updated on changes in immigration law and precedents.

Liaise with government agencies, clients, and stakeholders to manage immigration cases effectively.

Maintain accurate records and documentation of client cases and communications.

Requirements:

Admitted lawyer with at least 2 years post qualification experience and an unrestricted practicing certificate and/or a MARA agent with 2 to 4 years’ experience.

Proven experience in handling a variety of immigration cases, including all skilled migration, family and partner visas, student visas, and appeals.

Strong understanding of Australian immigration legislation, policies, and procedures.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.

Fluency in written and spoken English, with additional language skills beneficial.
