The opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Lawyer with 2 – 5 years PQE in Estate, Wills and Succession Planning Department. The role is based at our Liverpool office. We are looking for an applicant who has a keen interest in this area of law and aspires to a long term career, with opportunities for progression, within our growing practice.

Skills and experience we would love

We expect that the successful applicant would:

have experience in Estate Planning and Succession Law including Wills and Estate Planning, obtaining Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration, managing Estate Administration from asset realisation to distribution, handling Estate disputes and challenges.

have experience in Property Law to handle Property-related Estate matters (ideal but not essential);

be able to engage and communicate with clients;

have a talent for problem solving and drafting legal documents;

possess a high level of initiative and work-ethic;

have experience managing files independently;

have exceptional verbal and written communication skills;

have attention to detail and accuracy;

have a can-do approach and willingness to brow in the role; and

be able to manage competing priorities and work within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

Work closely with a Partner or senior team member on all matters;

Drafting various legal documents; letters of advice and general correspondence;

Managing matter tasks and workflows; and

Engaging with clients;
