The Company

Located on the Gold Coast, our client is a trusted name in the glass and aluminium industry, servicing commercial and residential clients throughout Southeast Queensland. With a strong reputation for precision and reliability, they have delivered high-quality glazing solutions for over two decades. The company is known for its supportive, team-oriented culture and a commitment to excellence. As the business grows, they’re seeking a professional and personable Receptionist to join their front office.

Overview of the Role

This is a vital front-of-house position in a busy and friendly environment. You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, setting the tone for a positive customer experience. Beyond greeting and assisting clients, you'll also handle administrative duties and support quoting and job conversion processes. You’ll enjoy variety in your day, work closely with the operations team, and receive on-the-job training in quoting systems. It’s a great role for someone who thrives on multitasking and bringing calm to a dynamic workplace.

About the Role

Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate department or contact

Answer and manage incoming phone calls and emails with professionalism

Assist with customer inquiries, generate quotes, and convert jobs

Perform general admin duties: data entry, filing, photocopying, maintaining inventory

Keep the reception area tidy and ensure a professional first impression

Support WHS compliance and ensure smooth daily office operations

You're someone who enjoys being at the heart of the action—calm, composed, and naturally helpful. Whether you're answering phones, preparing quotes, or solving customer queries, you bring a great attitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

About the Ideal Candidate

Essential:

Experience in reception, admin, or customer service roles

Excellent phone manner and communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Desirable:

Previous experience quoting or converting jobs (glazing/construction/trades industry)

Exposure to WHS or compliance-related tasks

Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment
