ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team, playing a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative software solutions. You’ll collaborate closely with a cross-functional team, including principal engineers, architects, and an offshore development team, to deliver high-quality software. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly technical professional who thrives in solving complex engineering challenges while contributing to a product-focused transformation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the development, integration, and support of software solutions.
• Collaborate with principal engineers, architects, and offshore teams to design scalable and efficient solutions.
• Advocate for technical excellence, best practices, and modern software development methodologies.
• Drive innovation in transitioning from a legacy platform to a modern, product-focused architecture.
• Participate in the full SDLC, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.
• Engage with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• 8+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in .NET, ASP.NET, SQL, and JavaScript.
• Experience in highly complex engineering environments, designing and implementing scalable software solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to assess technical challenges effectively.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and contributing to architecture and design decisions.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to mentor and lead technical teams, advocating for best practices and high-quality solutions.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps and cloud-based architectures is highly desirable.
• Relevant IT degree or equivalent experience.
