Our manufacturing plant is located in the heart of South Gippsland in beautiful Korumburra; only 1 hour’s easy drive from Frankston and Dandenong, 50 minutes from Pakenham, 40 minutes from Warragul/Drouin.

About the role:

We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated, driven individual to come and join our dynamic environment team.

The Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating the combined processes and technologies of the Wastewater Treatment Plant ensuring environmental compliance.

The key requirements of the role are:

• Ability to problem solve.
• Communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
• Technical “know how” and mechanical aptitude.
• Use of technology for process monitoring, data analysis, data entry and report generation
• Work well both in a team environment and independently.
• Ability to work a 7 day shift roster, including public holidays and weekends.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Proven experience in dairy manufacturing wastewater treatment plant or wastewater treatment environment.
• Certificate (III) Water Industry Treatment (Wastewater) or similar preferred but not essential.

Requirements

Undertake a medical and drug and alcohol test prior to commencement.
