Are you a highly motivated and detail-oriented nursing or midwifery professional looking to expand your impact on healthcare quality and safety? The Eyre and Far North Local Health Network is seeking a dedicated Quality, Risk and Safety Coordinator to drive projects and processes that enhance the delivery of exceptional care across our services.
In this pivotal role, you will leverage your clinical experience and developing proficiency to coordinate vital quality, risk, and safety initiatives, directly contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and patient well-being within the Eyre and Far North region.
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Coordinating quality improvement projects, activities, and processes as directed by the Regional QRS Manager.
- Potentially leading specific portfolio areas within the quality and safety framework.
- Preparing comprehensive reports and collating essential data to inform decision-making.
- Maintaining accurate registers and effectively managing relevant quality and safety systems.
- Accepting accountability for your own practice standards and any activities delegated to others.
- Providing guidance and support to less experienced staff members in relation to quality and safety principles.

What We're Looking For:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife.
- Experience in data collection, analysis and report generation
- Experience in project management including planning, development, implementation and evaluation.
- Experience in the use of computer packages e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel.

Applicant Information
This is a part time vacancy, working 48 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
