Motor Mechanic position available at D & A SEDDON MECHANICAL REPAIRS, Swansea NSW.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Prospective applicants must have extensive prior experience working commercially, as a Motor Mechanic.

Cert III or Cert IV Light Vehicle Mechanical Certificate.

AIS Inspector Certificate is desirable but not a must.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Servicing light engine vehicles.

Complete AIS rego inspections.

Transmission service - Perform regular checks, install, and remove transmissions.

Repair/service of radiators, braking system, steering and suspension systems.

Conduct pressure tests to diagnose hydraulic problems.

Inspect and maintain exhaust system & fuel injection systems.

Conducting tests to diagnose both mechanical and electrical issues.

Use of computer-based scan tools for faults and repair.

Must be able to replace clutch, brakes & timing belts.

Applicants with formal qualifications (AQF Certificate IV in automotive or Certificate III in automotive with 2 years of industry experience) will be prioritized. The position is available full-time, 38 hours/week. Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm. No weekend work.
