For our Support Office located at Sydney International Airport, we are searching for a Talent Acquisition Manager.

Your new job includes:

As Talent Acquisition Manager you will work closely with key stakeholders of the business to strengthen Heinemann Oceania’s position in the market, proactively supporting the team to attract, engage and mobilize the right talent to support business growth and our people agenda. You will lead by example, whereby people and growth initiatives are at the core of everything you do. You will have a commercial focus that is routed in your ability to connect with talent. You are responsive, results focused and motivated by achieving employee satisfaction. Relationship building, as well as a sense of urgency and commitment to service excellence is important for the success of this role.

You will be responsible for (but not limited to):

Lead end to end recruitment for a diverse portfolio of roles across the business, in both corporate office environment and our retail environment.

Interact with Department Heads to identify job openings and prepare well-informed job briefs in order to develop and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders within the business

Advertise career opportunities both internally and externally.

Execute end to end recruitment process : assess, screen and shortlist suitable candidates, schedule and conduct interviews, perform reference checks for potential employees

Develop and maintain position descriptions, utilising a centralised database and ensure the storage of interviewing and hiring records

Conduct salary benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation. Analyze market data, compare internal salaries with industry standards, and recommend adjustments to attract and retain talent

Prepare hiring paperwork and information packs, including job offers and preparing of employment contracts

Proactively maintain talent pipelines for future business recruitment needs & participate in recruitment events, such as career fairs and exhibitions

Compiling reports for recruitment to monitor trends, time to fill and actively adapt the recruitment strategy

In conjunction with HR, support the orientation of new employees

What you should bring along:

Minimum 3 years’ experience in Recruitment or Talent Acquisition

Studying/studied in an HR related field (desirable)

Experience in and knowledge of current recruitment processes and practices

Knowledge of employment legislation, with particular relevance to Equal Opportunity

Knowledge of P&C databases and candidate management systems. We use Success Factors.

Exceptional interpersonal skills – you present yourself well and communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) to a wide variety of stakeholders

You have a high attention to detail and are meticulous in your organisation skills; multi-tasking will be second nature to you.

Have experience utilizing Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
