About the role
As the Talent Acquisition Administration officer, you will provide efficient administrative support to the Talent Acquisition Lead and P&C Business Partners throughout the entire remit of recruitment and onboarding/offboarding.
You will also work to ensure the best candidate experience with the ability to communicate our culture and act as a brand ambassador.
What you’ll be doing:
Managing high volumes of recruitment requests and ensuring timely resolutions
Working under pressure while maintaining a high standard of customer service
Undertaking all general administration functions required for the entire remit of recruitment, selection and onboarding process, including but not limited to the production of offer letters and other correspondence and registering new starter documents
Answering general recruitment queries from all internal and external stakeholders
Preparing recruitment job advertisements and posting on Willoughby Council’s careers page and other recruitment mediums such as Seek, LinkedIn, Council’s intranet, professional job ad boards, etc.
Assist the Talent Acquisition Lead with the onboarding of agency/contractor staff and casual recruitment
Assist the Talent Acquisition Lead in providing recruitment training (including the TechOne Recruitment module) to key stakeholders
All interview scheduling and coordination with candidates and panel members
Preparation and general set up of interview rooms and guiding candidates to meeting room
Developing recruitment and onboarding reports
Ensure relevant employment checks are conducted, including police/qualification checks, reference checks, etc.
Reconciliation of any recruitment invoices and statements
Requirements
High School Certificate and/or relevant experience
Demonstrated relevant experience in an administrative role, preferably in a HR and/or Recruitment environment
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to learn new computer systems
Strong data entry skills and general administrative tasks completed in a timely manner
Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite – Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to maintain accurate records across multiple platforms
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and store information according to data protection requirements.
Exceptional organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated ability to work as a team as well as independently to ensure deadlines are met.
Highly customer focused to ensure a highly positive customer experience
Demonstrates awareness of and commitment to the principles of Work Health and Safety (WHS) and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), including a willingness to attend relevant training.
