This large leading Chartered Accounting firm is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant / Supervisor who is after a new challenge and is wanting to progress to a manager in the near short term future.

The successful applicant will be responsible for a portfolio of clients, general review and preparation of tax returns, financial accounts, and assist junior staff members. You will work across advisory in addition to compliance to help you progress. You will have a good amount of autonomy in this role and the role does require an individual with solid client-facing experience. The firm provides innovative leading software to facilitate efficiency and ease your workload to help you deliver quality client outcomes.

Your duties will involve:

Providing tax compliance, planning and advice to a portfolio of clients

Handling client queries on key tax areas that affect SMEs and family groups

Managing WIP and deadlines

Assisting clients across business restructures, due diligence and acquisition / sale of business

General review of junior staff work

To be successful in this role, you'll need the following:

4 plus years of Business Services experience in Australia

Will have commenced or completed CA/CPA qualification

Strong software skills particularly with Xero

Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills
