We're looking for a capable and energetic Sous Chef to join a well-established, fast-paced kitchen delivering fresh, approachable food with a Mediterranean and Modern Australian focus.

This is a casual, high-volume restaurant with a strong local following and a focus on consistency, pace, and teamwork.

The Role
As Sous Chef, you'll work closely with the Head Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, lead a reliable team through busy services, and ensure smooth back-of-house coordination. It's a hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and brings both leadership and structure to the kitchen.

The menu leans on fresh produce, quality proteins, and straightforward, flavour-driven dishes seafood, chargrill, and Mediterranean-style favourites. You'll help manage prep, run the pass, assist with ordering and rostering, and uphold kitchen standards.

What You'll Bring

Experience in high-volume, upmarket casual dining kitchens

Confident working with grill, seafood, and Mediterranean-style menus

Strong leadership skills and a calm, clear communication style

Solid organisational habits and reliability during prep and service

A collaborative, team-first approach to kitchen culture

Function or events experience is an advantage
