Just Cremations are a recognised industry leader dedicated to making a difference in the lives of our families and the funeral profession. We have been established in Perth for over 30 years with branches based in and around the Metropolitan area, the Peel Region and now the Southwest.
Our branch in Bunbury requires a casual Funeral All Rounder that can step into any role when required. You must hold a valid MANUAL Driver's Licence for this position.
The primary purpose of this role is to arrange and conduct all aspects of a funeral, organise and complete all associated paperwork and set up for the funeral on the day. It is also ensuring everything runs smoothly and that our families’ needs are met. This role will also include caring for the deceased and preparing them for their funeral.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Arranging and conducting funeral services and cremations.
Meeting with families to provide the service required for their loved one.
Organising and completing all formal paperwork associated with each funeral and ensuring that all the necessary bookings and equipment are made and available.
Preparing the deceased for their funeral.
Providing a customer facing service to our families including setting up services, directing families, providing refreshments, and operating media and related equipment.
Washing, preparing and driving company vehicles, as and when required.
Working as a team to provide a first-class customer service to our families’.
Key Skills and Experience Required
Three (3) to five (5) years’ work experience in a customer service facing role.
Solid administration experience is essential.
Experience working in a small team environment.
A demonstrated experience of providing excellent customer service.
Possess the ability to think on your feet, solve problems quickly and have a flexible approach to your work.
The ability to multi-task and complete tasks outside the sphere of the role when required.
Strong planning and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to get on with people from different backgrounds and cultures and build relationships.
To lead by example, take ownership and be accountable.
