shiny things is an independent NDIS service provider creating niche services in complex needs for people who have experienced provider failure and have fallen through the gaps. We are a small, and caring, family run business with a mighty big heart!
shiny things provides something unique in disability and mental health services. The reason why we do things is the foundation of… well… everything!
And everything we do is an adventure of immense personal and professional reward for our shiny team so we're looking for a compassionate and kind scheduling human with unique values and skills.
the role
rostering of 30+ team members in Perth's southern suburbs over 15 rosters
communicating with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) participants, their nominees and guardians, as well as external providers
IT and app support
organising calendars, and booking appointments/activities
on-call 1 week per month
general administration and reception/admin duties
being a resource for a fabulous community services team
working as a personal assistant for the company directors and leadership as needed
jumping into both regular and surprise direct community support sessions feet first (whilst wearing enclosed shoes of course!)
We use MYP software (it's a non-descript name for a database made for NDIS providers). If data and playing with databases are a food group for you, then MYP will be a nice stroll down a superhighway.

ball juggling skills (or at least the ability to pick them up while wearing roller skates)
