The Digital Platforms team is responsible for BCE's Foundational Technology, Security Operations, Service Operations and School Technology within Information and Technology. The team ensures that the networks and supporting technologies for employees, schools, and students are secure, accessible, effective, and well-managed. Our agile team delivers high-performing infrastructure and systems, providing responsive IT support, managing cybersecurity, and guiding best-practice IT operations in schools. - Salary:$77,979 - $88,120 + super
- Status: permanent (continuing)
About the opportunity
Responsibilities include providing first-level technical support, ensuring smooth IT operations, and resolving client issues promptly and professionally:
- Deliver high quality service desk services in a client focused manner
- Identify trends, and suggest improvements
- End-user technology support such as Windows, macOS, iOS and AV equipment.
- Creation of process documentation, technical documentation, and forms as required.
- Share technical expertise and business knowledge within the team.
- Enhancing practices and processes for continuous improvement.
Profile description:
About you
To be successful in this position you will bring relevant contemporary skills and experience including:
- Experience performing basic user and group administration tasks in an AD, Office 365, Exchange.
- Experience in the installation, maintenance and support of personal computer operating systems.
- Demonstrated experience using IT Service Management tools (preferably ServiceNow) for Incident Management, Request Management, and Change Management
- Experience in a similar position and possess strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and tasks, undertaking initial investigations, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Strong communication skills to respond to enquiries.
- IT or related degree qualifications and /or industry qualifications relating to a complex ICT environment preferred.
Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:
- Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment
- Hold of be eligible to hold Positive Notice Blue Card for working with Children.
- Ability to obtain a National Criminal History check prior to commencement.
