About the role

• Our busy Medical Imaging and Interventional radiology department sees over 200 patients per day, including inpatients, outpatients and private patients.
• Our department has 3 MRI scanners, 2 CT scanners, ultrasound, x-ray, fluoroscopy and interventional radiology.
• Competencies include instrument nursing, circulation nursing, administering sedation, cannulation, advanced life support, experience in these areas, peri-operative or critical care are advantageous.
• Monday - Friday with on-call once all training has been completed.
• One additional day off per month.

About you

• At least one year post graduate experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency.
• Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse.
• Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and highly effective communication and interpersonal skills.
