About the role

• A major tertiary referral centre consisting of 3 Cardiac Catheter Labs, 1 Electrophysiology Lab and 1 Endomyocardial Biopsy/ Right Heart Catheterization
• Assisting with interventional cardiac procedures such as insertion of stents, cardiac devices and structural heart procedures. Perioperative and post operative care of cardiac patients.​
• Leading the way in interventional procedures; percutaneous aortic valve replacement, left atrial appendage closure, PFO, ASD closure, AF ablation, cardiac resynchronization therapy.
• Monday to Friday rotating roster, and on-call overnights and over the weekends.
• One additional day off every 6 weeks plus 15% loading on annual leave taken.

About you

• Demonstrated experience in acute care setting such as Cardiac Nursing/ Anaesthetic Nursing/ operating theatres or other relevant area.
• Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency
