About the Role
Serenity Pool Company is looking for a skilled and self-motivated Formwork Carpenter / Carpenter to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives working independently, can take initiative on-site, and has the ability to manage and carry out smaller landscaping construction jobs such as retaining walls, blockwork, and other structural elements alongside our premium pool installations.

Key Responsibilities

Independently measuring, cutting, and assembling formwork and carpentry components with precision

Constructing and installing formwork structures in preparation for concrete spraying

Managing and building small landscaping structures such as retaining walls, concrete surrounds and blockwork features

Occasionally performing skilled carpentry tasks such as decking, fencing, and timber features

Working autonomously or with minimal supervision to deliver high-quality, neat, and durable finishes

Maintaining tools and equipment and ensuring the worksite remains safe and organised

Interpreting plans, specifications, and drawings with accuracy and attention to detail

Adhering to all workplace health and safety guidelines

What We’re Looking For

Qualified carpenter or equivalent hands-on experience in formwork and general construction

Strong capability in working solo and managing small-to-medium landscaping construction jobs

Experience in retaining wall systems, blockwork, or other hardscaping elements

Concreting experience is a strong plus

Confident in reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans

High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Reliable, self-driven, and capable of managing time and tasks effectively on-site

Current driver’s licence and own reliable transport
