A TYPICAL DAY AT GN..
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced electronics technician to join our team improving the lives of our customers by producing, repairing and servicing ear moulds and hearing instruments. The successful candidate Could be:
Testing, diagnosing and troubleshooting behind-the-ear (BTE) and in-the-ear instruments (ITE); ensuring repairs are carried out in accordance with GN Hearing’s required standards and timeframes
Assembling ITE hearing instruments, working from impressions sent to GN Hearing by individual clinics by performing soldering of wiring, casing, finishing, testing and reprogramming of custom hearing instruments
Ensuring compliance with internal quality standards; conducting quality control and packing of ear moulds and hearing instruments
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
Previous experience in manufacturing and repair of electronic and/or medical devices – ideally experience producing and repairing ear moulds and hearing instruments
Experience using Navision
Experience working within an ISO Quality Management system
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
Basic skills in the use of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
A positive, “can-do” attitude and a team player
Comfortable working with deadlines and KPIs
