Join the team at Gold Coast Private Hospital as an Enrolled Nurse! We're looking for an experienced professional to bring their skills to our cardiac team on a part-time basis (24/7 rotating roster including AM, PM, and night shifts).

You will play a key role within a supportive team, ensuring exceptional patient care is being delivered.

With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology.

As an Enrolled Nurse - Cardiac, your responsibilities will include:

· Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN

· Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs

· Act as a role model for Safe Practice

· Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy

· Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development

Essential Criteria:

· Current Registration with AHPRA

· Minimum 1-year acute experience

· Med and IV endorsed

· Basic cardiac knowledge

· ECG interpretation experience

· Commitment to Quality Patient Care

· Compliance with ACSQHC National standards

· Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication and customer service skills

· Works well independently and within a team

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - QLD - Nurses Enterprise Agreement " (salaries range between $36.74 and $39.78 per hour + superannuation)
