We are working with a QLD Govt Department to source a Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant to work on a large project that will drive change with the departments mission critical business solution. The Functional Consultant will be responsible for the collation of requirement into user stories for the system changes as defined by the project.

Responsibilities of the role will include the following:

Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business needs.

User Stories: Creating/ Updating existing stories to make them ready for build as per dynamics/power platform project requirements.

Ensure all documentation is accessible and understandable for the broader team.

Collaborate with Solution Architect, Design Team & Developers for functionality & delivery.

Configuration: Hands on integration knowledge to configure the power platform using out of the box tools to align with business processes.

Testing and Validation: Conduct smoke testing or otherwise to ensure solutions meet requirements and perform as expected.

Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to end-users to facilitate adoption and efficient use of the system.

DevOps Management: Manage project boards, dashboards, sprint deliverables, and CI/CD skills.

To be suitable for this role you will require the following skills and experience:

Strong analytical skills to translate business needs into effective CRM requirements.

Knowledge of Microsoft technologies and development tools, especially for D365.

Understanding of building Power Portal applications while utilising the native capabilities or customising the power portals(pages)

Experience with Power Automate Flow creation and management.

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively.

Proven experience configuring or customising Microsoft Power Platform (Model Driven App) solutions.

Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 or Power Platform. (preferred)

This is an initial six-month contract, with extension possible. The client is based in the Brisbane CBD and whilst a hybrid WFH flexible environment is encouraged, you will need to attend the office 1-3 days per week.
