We are expanding our team at Mckenzies Compounding Pharmacy and are looking for a Full-Time Compounding Technician / Dispensary Assistant for Mckenzies Compounding Pharmacy with Priceline Pharmacy Mt Lawley, located on Beaufort Street. We love to offer our customers excellent customer service with a personal touch. Our team loves to work together and boost each other up.

We are looking for someone who has had previous pharmacy experience, particularly within the dispensary part of the pharmacy. We use Fred, so previous experience is preferred. Also a thorough knowledge of most health products, a S2/S3 certificate and First Aid/CPR (or willing to obtain). Compounding experience both sterile and non-sterile will be an advantage but not necessary as long as you have the willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

Compound medications following prescribed formulas and safety guidelines

Accurately measure, mix, and package pharmaceutical ingredients

Maintain and clean compounding equipment and workspaces

Ensure compliance with all state regulations

Properly document all compounding activities in accordance with pharmacy protocols

Assist pharmacists in reviewing and processing compounded prescription orders

Maintain inventory of compounding supplies and ensure proper storage

Provide excellent customer service and collaborate with healthcare providers as needed

Our lab located on the first floor of the pharmacy has recently undergone a refit and has multiple non-sterile and sterile rooms built to USP 795 / 797 specifications.

The role involves a roster of Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

We are open every day from 8am to 9pm!
