About the role
Permanent opportunity to provide high-level and high-quality social work services and leadership as a member of a multidisciplinary team within the Chermside Psychosocial Treatment Team, Metro North Mental Health – Alcohol and Drug Service (MNMH-ADS). This role delivers psychosocial treatment services to people with moderate to severe substance use disorders and their families/significant others to achieve maximum benefits from health care services for them in accordance with organisational goals.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- As a member of the multidisciplinary team, deliver contemporary high-level social work services based on valid and reliable evidence, in accordance with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) Code of Ethics and Professional Practice Standards, and performed with a high degree of independence.
- Provide social work advice and consultation to the multidisciplinary team, operational supervisors, and key stakeholders regarding professional standards and clinical service development.
- Provide clinical leadership and participate in the development of practices, procedures, protocols and other quality and service improvement and research activities within MNMH-ADS to continually improve consumer care.
