The Service & Aftersales Advisor Traralgon is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service center, ensuring high-quality service, pre-delivery, customer satisfaction, and profitability. This role involves leading a team of technicians and support staff, managing resources, and implementing processes that meet safety, industry, and quality standards. The Service & Aftersales Advisor ensures that every customer interaction results in a positive experience, reinforcing the dealership’s reputation for excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee daily service centre operations, ensuring timely completion of jobs that meet quality standards
- Manage and schedule repair orders to optimize team and resource utilization
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels of parts to prevent delays in service
- Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the repair process
- Effectively delegate tasks to optimize team output and efficiency
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring satisfaction from initial inquiry to repair completion
- Manage customer inquiries and complaints professionally, providing timely resolutions
- Oversee communication with customers regarding repair status, costs, and estimated completion times
- Oversee final vehicle preparation for delivery, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to quality standards
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:
- Min 2-year work experience in Caravan/ Automotive or Recreational Vehicles Industry preferred
- Driver’s licence and experienced in towing caravans (towing preferred)
- Computer skills with good knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and Excel
- Organising, prioritising and meeting deadlines is your forte
