Troocoo are proud to be partnering with Queensland Revenue Office on the recruitment of their Director to lead the Ipswich-based Debt Management Centre (DMC). This opportunity will play a key leadership role in a high-impact Government environment, driving strategic debt recovery outcomes that directly support Queensland’s revenue priorities.
As Director of the DMC, you will oversee a centre of approximately 100 staff delivering targeted, proactive penalty debt collection and enforcement action through inbound and outbound call interactions. You will form part of the QRO senior leadership team, shaping and delivering efficient revenue management practices while fostering a collaborative, performance-driven culture. This critical position reports directly to the Assistant Commissioner (SPER & Fines) and will work in unison with the Director of the Southport DMC to ensure a congruent workforce strategy.
Some of the key responsibilities within this role will include, but not be limited to:
- Leading the strategic direction, performance, and continuous improvement of the Ipswich DMC in line with QRO and SPER objectives.
- Driving workforce efficiencies, service delivery innovation, and projects that enhance capability and improve recovery outcomes.
- Providing high-level advice on operational matters and acting under relevant legislative delegations.
- Partnering with the Director of the Southport DMC and broader QRO leadership to drive consistency, share best practices, and deliver aligned outcomes across centres.
- Managing relationships with key stakeholders and contributing to the execution of QRO’s business and client service priorities.
