About the role

Archi Sustainability is seeking a dedicated and experienced Energy Rater/ESD Consultant to join our team. This is a full-time position based in our exciting new Thomastown, Melbourne office. This role will be integral to the future and further development of Archi Sustainability as a company as we continue to expand and grow the client base Australia wide.

What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive energy ratings and assessments for residential buildings & apartment buildings

Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on energy efficiency measures and sustainability strategies

Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support building permit applications and compliance requirements

Collaborating with our team to tackle hurdles together and workout cost effective solutions

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry regulations, technologies and best practices

Complete annual CPD training & maintain accreditation as required by your designated AAO fully funded by Archi Sustainability

Complete regular mentoring funded by Archi Sustainability

What we're looking for

1+ years of experience as an accredited energy assessor

Comprehensive knowledge of energy efficiency standards, building codes and rating tools (e.g. FirstRate5, HERO, BERS)

Excellent technical skills in building energy modelling, thermal performance analysis and sustainability assessments

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to identify optimal energy-saving solutions

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills to liaise with clients, authorities and the project team

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment

80k - 120k + Super (depending on experience & knowledge)
