About your new role
The Business Analyst Capability Lead provides internal consultancy, expertise, and training in Business Analysis. The role is focused on maintaining minimum standards and achieving target performance.
Responsibilities include:
• Own Business Analysis standards and methods, ensuring processes and templates are maintained in line with industry best practice
• Undertake mentoring, coaching, and formal training for Business Analysis staff, key stakeholders, and other staff seeking to utilise Business Analysis techniques
• Undertake Business Analysis induction (to purpose, roles, processes etc.)
• Develop case-study material and feed back to Business Analysis Centre of Excellence (CoE)
• Act as method specialist and expert in Business Analysis – provide help, advice and guidance on tailoring
• Provide technical leadership, coaching and mentoring on Business Analysis tools
• Keep abreast of and evaluate the effectiveness of new Business Analysis tools and techniques
We're looking for people who have:
• Bachelor Degree of Business Analytics or/and equivalent Business Analysis knowledge and experience
• Certificate of Coaching/Training and/or equivalent experience
• Min 5 years’ experience in business analysis, knowledge/experience of large-scale and transformational initiatives would be advantageous
Formal qualifications in at least one of the following (multiple qualifications are highly desirable):
• Certified Business Analysis Professional
• Entry Certificate in Business Analysis
• PMI Professional in Business Analysis
• Agile methodology Knowledge
• Project Management methodology knowledge
• BABOK framework knowledge
• BPMN 2.0
