Proserpine Hospital | Mackay Hospital and Health Service is a busy level 3 facility with approximately 20,000 ED presentations per year and 270 births. Rural Generalists working in the Whitsunday Health Service develop a broad scope of practice in a collaborative, dynamic environment and have the opportunity to use their skills extensively. The Community Health Campus offers a range of Community Health services provided by a multi-disciplinary team. The Whitsunday Health Service covers the Whitsunday Regional Council area, Midge Point and Bloomsbury.

The Whitsunday Health Service is made up of two facilities: The Commnity Health Campus - Cannonvale, and the Hospital Campus - Proserpine. The Proserpine Hospital is is a 35-bed acute hospital that offers a number of speciality inpatient and outpatient services, including obstetrics, endoscopy and visiting specialist clincis and theatre lists.

Salary Information (L13 – L17, L18 – L23, L25 – L27):

Total remuneration value of up to $379,762 (L17) is comprised of:

  • A salary between $182,106 - $204,910 (L13-L17)

Total remuneration value of up to $433,203 (L23) is comprised of:

  • A salary between $210,332 - $238,511 (L18-L23)

Total remuneration value of up to $498,784 (L27) is comprised of:

  • A salary between $251,527 - $266,677 (L25-L27)
