Bowen Hospital is a 27-bed rural hospital servicing the town of Bowen and surrounding areas, located 200 kms south of Townsville and 185 kms north of Mackay. Services provided include inpatient services, Emergency patient care; General Outpatients, Allied Health services including: Pharmacy; Radiography; Physiotherapy; Speech Pathology; Occupational Therapy; Community Health Antenatal and Postnatal outpatient services; Oral Health; Outreach Mental Health and AODS services; Visiting Medical Specialists (Paediatrician, Psychiatrist; Respiratory Physician; Endocrinologist and Orthopaedic Surgeon); Tele-health services supported by medical officers from Bowen.

Your opportunity

Develop and maintain a high-quality, effective, efficient, and equitable clinical service to hospital clients. Provide education of medical staff and students, allied health, interested community groups and nursing staff and to co-ordinate as necessary with other personnel within the hospital, other hospital services and agencies to ensure optimum patient care, and to ensure integration of services in the wider community.

Salary Information (L13 - L18, L18 – L23, L25 – L27)

Total remuneration value of up to $386,932 (L18) is comprised of:

  • A salary between $182,106 - $210,332 (L13-L18) p.a.

Total remuneration value of up to $433,002 (L23) is comprised of:

  • A salary between $210,332 - $238,511 (L18-L23) p.a.

Total remuneration value of up to $498,583 (L27) is comprised of:

  • A salary between $251,527 - $266,677 (L25-L27) p.a.
